Nigel Marsh - Lessons From The Frontline
Nigel Marsh is a best-selling author, renowned CEO and performance coach and has been described by the Examined Life Institute as “one of Australia's most outstanding writers and commentators”.  In addition to being one of the founders of the globally renowned environmental initiative Earth Hour, Nigel has worked with an enormous variety of businesses during a distinguished career in the communications industry,  including a number of the world's top companies (Virgin, McDonald's, Pepsi, British Airways, Philip Morris, Proctor & Gamble and Mars amongst others). This experience has given him strong views on what does and doesn’t lead to peak performance in the business world. He is the author of Fat, Forty and Fired and Overworked & Underlaid.

Chrissie Lightfoot - It's a 'Nichey Brand-You' Digital World
Chrissie is the CEO of EntrepreneurLawyer Limited, a UK based company specialising in helping lawyers of today become lawyers of tomorrow - today.  She advises law firms globally on marketing, branding, sales, social networking and social media. Chrissie is an inspirational woman entrepreneur, a non-practising solicitor, and an author,  best noted for her groundbreaking book The Naked Lawyer: RIP to XXX – How to Market, Brand and Sell YOU! (2010).  She is a UK national award and prize winning researcher, a women’s enterprise ambassador and a mentor on behalf of The Prince's Trust Million Makers Corporate Challenge. Chrissie will be speaking in New Zealand for the first time at the Forum.

Richard Burcher - There's a Hole In My Bucket!
Richard is widely regarded as New Zealand’s leading authority on the pricing of legal services. With 27 years Law Society and private cost assessment experience,  his pricing consultancy Validatum and his speaking engagements now take him throughout New Zealand and Australia.  His research and commentary has been widely published including a recent article on Barristers' fees in The Commonwealth Lawyer and a forthcoming article in Managing for Success (Law Society of England and Wales) on the impact that the imminent restructuring of the UK profession will have on the pricing of legal services.

Sam Bassett - Will the last lawyer leaving the building please turn the lights off?
Sam is Business Services Director with Markhams (Auckland) Chartered Accountants. Markhams acts for a significant number of Barristers and Solicitors in Auckland and Sam consults to legal firms, assisting with law firm valuations and partner entry and exit strategies along with amalgamation strategies. He has also prepared  the Small to Medium Legal Firm Financial Benchmarking Survey of Auckland Legal firms survey since 2006. He will be co-presenting at the Forum with Ashley Balls.

Ashley is the founding Director of Legal Best Practice and, for the past, thirty years has optimised the performance of hundreds law firms around the globe  He works with clients who are committed to recognising that the future of legal services will not necessarily be an extension of the past. Prior to founding Legal Best Practice, Ashley worked in London with what was the leading firm of consultants servicing the legal profession. As an employer with over 65 staff, Ashley has personal experience of all the problems associated in working in a service driven multi-million dollar turnover business. He is a prolific author of articles and papers on management issues and is the co-author of The Business of Law.

Simon Tupman - The Innovation Factor
Simon is a renowned speaker and writer with over thirty years experience in the legal sector both as a lawyer and as a business consultant to law firms. Apart from his consulting, coaching and writing, Simon addresses and facilitates conferences and partner retreats worldwide.  His articles have been published in professional journals globally and on-line. He has written two best-selling books, Why Lawyers Should Eat Bananas which has been translated into Russian and Why Entrepreneurs Should Eat Bananas which has been translated into Portuguese and Spanish.  His latest book Legal Eagles was released November 2010 to wide acclaim. He is the founder of the Future Firm Forum.
